Joy yacht: Feadship newest Jewel
Year for year, the prolific Feadship shipyard stuns the world with their beautiful, modern and cutting edge superyachts that radiate class and command respect. Their newest build Joy is no exception and is one of the year’s most impressive arrivals.

No doubt, had it been present during the Monaco Yacht Show 2016, Joy would have been a strong contender for the Superyacht of the Year award. You can charter this incredible yacht to cruise wherever you want in the world and to enjoy unparallel level of luxury right above the sea. Just imagine going on holidays with your private five-star floating palace!

Design

Designed by Bannenberg & Rowell (founded by the late great Jon Bannenberg), who also designed Feadship’s Kamino and Heesen’s Galactica Star, their touch can be seen in Joy from its distinctive sleek, new-age yet undeniably classic look.

The 70m superyacht sleeps up to 12 guests in 8 rooms and is stunning and has both an indoor and outdoor deck spaces. Through the center of the vessel runs a gorgeous staircase with an elevator in the middle for those less willing to make the climb. The yacht’s structure extensively features glass and is thus very well naturally illuminated, giving the yacht a very open feel, effectively blending the exterior and interior of the superyacht in most areas.

The interior is nothing short of spectacular with a beautiful wooden theme. The wood is often decorated in intricate patterns, the furniture has adopted a darker, more sophisticated feel. The bedrooms are sumptuous without being ostentatious, a perfect balance of style and luxury has been achieved while still making it feel like home.

The exterior has ample space for relaxation, with several lounging and dining areas, as well as a pool and jacuzzi. A “white” theme was adopted for its exterior and its aluminum superstructure complements this theme perfectly. Most of the furniture is white and clearly chosen to give the yacht an unmistakable elegant quality.

Entertainment

When it comes to entertainment, Joy delivers on all accounts: the exterior has a basketball hoop and a swimming pool, whereas the interior comes with a fully equipped gym as well as a home cinema with a unique design. Overall, this superyacht has excelled on all fronts, further cementing Feadship’s reputation as one of world’s best shipyard’s, creating vessels admired globally.
